I've been putting together an outreach campaign for a new company and realized something very important.
Most business owners focus on needing new sales. However, they seldom ask the 2 most important questions needed to achieve sales growth.
Those questions are:
1. Who are you selling to specifically? In other words, what are your target niches?
2. Where (geographically) are you focusing your efforts?
The more people and the broader the area you're focusing on, the more money you need for marketing.
So if you're tight on marketing funds and are not sure how to achieve growth, focus on your highest potential niche in the smallest market area possible.
After you achieve sales growth, reinvest into reaching more niches or expanding the areas you serve.
