What Business Energy are You Projecting?

Scotch 80110-JPG One thing we learn from pets, like cats and dogs, is that the energy we project to them gets mirrored back to us.

I know if I get excited about something, my dog Scotchy comes over to see what’s going on. The same result occurs with times that I’m in a calm state. When I’m calm, lo and behold, my dog is too.

The reason is, he experiences a change in my energy and responds to it. The energy he’s responding to is called “human subtle energy.”

You and I respond to human subtle energy in the exact same way.

Projected energy is one reason why you enjoy doing business with some people more than others or why you’ll trust one person over the other. Some people simply feel better than others.

In business, the energy you project can be the difference between a healthy business and one that struggles.

Let’s evaluate where the energy level is in your business.

It all starts with your personal awareness. How do you respond to these 4 questions:

1. What occurs throughout the course of every day?

2. How do you respond to those situations?

3. How does your day-to-day work make you feel?

4. How do you feel about your clients and potential clients?

Your responses to these questions will give you a very good idea about where your energy in business lies now.

Next, evaluate how you feel right now about the following 3 points:

1. Where you are in business. Are you where you want to be, or do you wish you were somewhere else every day?

2. What about your day-to-day activities? Are you productive and moving forward with your growth plans or are you stagnant, barely finding time to stay afloat, much less reach your true goals and deepest desires for your business?

3. When you work with people, what benefits do your clients tell you they experience? Do they often come back for more or do they typically purchase only once?

It doesn’t take specialized knowledge of human subtle energy to evaluate the energy of your business based on your answer to these 7 questions.

The fact is, if you’re feeling depleted, not motivated, not excited about adding value to the life of others through your work, your business energy is low.

When energy is low, sales are hard to come by; each client engagement is a chore that you can’t wait to end. You have a hard time getting started every work day.

When your energy is high, you’ll find that people want to do business with you so selling becomes a lot of fun.

You love your client interactions because you know you are adding value to the life of another person and that feels great on all levels, mentally, physically and emotionally.

The end result is that clients, just like our pets, can “read” energy and they respond accordingly.

High energy: people want to be around you and do business with you.

Low energy: people generally want to run the other way.
